Illustrator Vijay is different from other not by his name but by his creativity. In conversation with Vijay about his work. He says that he was not good at making drawings since childhood. It was his college final days (2011) when he started sketching portraits and doodles. It was not a regular thing for him back then, he used to draw occasionally and mostly for himself.

It was around 2015, when he posted his first artwork on Instagram account (which was still a personal handle of him) and then due to job and other priorities, he was not regular. He used to draw and post rough ideas once a month. And in 2018, he was shifted to Hyderabad for his work. There he was living alone and had plenty of time to kill :) and learn new things. That was the moment when he started making drawings more and trying new things like (Art styles, Animations, etc).

He says that till date, he do not have a particular style of drawing because he keep on trying new things and most of the time his each post has some unique style or theme.

According to him during the covoid 19 period, he was making a lot of drawings (sometimes 3+ posts in a day). His most popular contents include some funny comics and Animations. Which you can see on his Instagram handle. for him, this is still a hobby. He is having no plans to take it to commercial as of now. It gives him a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction whenever he draw something.

Recently he made a lot of fun animations and comics - people are liking it and it makes him happy to know that he is able to create something which brings a smile on other's face.

Just like other artists, he participate in various challenges and collaboration. He did his first collab animation (which was kind of unique) where he asked other artists to draw any character is given 4 poses and send it to him. On receiving it from about 5 artists, he prepared an animation. As soon as he posted that, people like the idea, and artists started sharing him more artwork. That made him post another 2 posts featuring 10 more artists. In total, he posted 3 videos featuring 15 artists as part of his animation collab. All the participants got their due credits and appreciated the idea along with the final result.

After that, he is continuously drawing daily and posting different types of artwork. And he have recently started commissioned caricature/portrait work also.
